

Amplifier Wiring: OFC vs CCA?
What should you choose, oxygen free copper (OFC), or copper clad aluminum (CCA), for your amp's power and ground wiring? In short, go OFC! Aluminum, even with copper cladding, just does not carry power as easily from the battery to the amplifier. Sure, CCA is the cheaper wire. But as usual, you get what you pay for.
