Hertz 6x9s Installed
So I got the Hertz 6x9s and amp installed. However I picked up an engine noise in the system. )-; So I'm working on discerning the cause. It wasn't a direct fix with a ground loop isolator on the RCA cables. Because of this, I'm preparing for a big 3 upgrade to improve the chassis ground, engine ground, and power from the alternator. If that doesn't resolve the engine noise on the rear speakers, then I'm gonna have to dig deeper and keep researching!
My Next Upgrade...
My next upgrade...rear speakers and amp to power them! Those are Hertz speakers. Excellent brand, not that well known. I'm putting in the amp to connect to the Equalizer so I can use the fader on the eq to better fade the front and rear speakers. I'm expecting a smoother transition between front and rear. Also the rear sound should be much cleaner too with more power and a great upgrade from the stock speakers. Stay tuned in for the results!
